Abstract

This study aims to identify the enhancement of cassava chips quality after the samples were added with flour made of Gnetum gnemons rind based on the data obtained from a number of panelists. The research employs CRD (Completely Randomised Design) method. The parameters tested were the level of colour, of aroma, of crispness, and of bitterness. It revealed that adding cassava flour affects the water content, the protein, the fiber, and the antioxidant. The most favourable fortification was the treatment A (combining 500gram of manioc flour porridge and 10% GnetumGnemonrind flour) with 2,6 % of water, 4.07% of protein, 6.4% offiber, and 62.73% of antioxidant.

Abstract

Salted eggs are eggs preserved by marinated. This research aims to determine the effect of variations  ripened of  salted egg with addition of coconut fiber ash on the chloride and protein content, and the level of hedonic. Variable of this research were the variations ripened time of 7, 14 and 21 days. The research design by using a completely randomized design (CRD) single factor. The Parameters of this research were the content of chloride and protein, and the level of hedonic. Data of the research were analyzed by using ANOVA variance analysis techniques to further test DMRT (Duncan Multiple range test). The results of this research showed that the best chloride content and level of hedonic ripened in 21 days treatment, while for the best protein content ripened in 7 days treatment.

Abstract

Efforts to enhance the value and optimize the utilization of the production of marine catches is to develop value-added products, both traditional and modern processed. One of the many Tuna fish processing done by community group, both home industry and UMKM is abon industry. The abon industry in Parepare city by UMKM "Mekar", involves housewives who work as hired labour, who take advantage of their time and ability to gain added value to Tuna fish that is quite easy to obtain in the market. This study aims to determine the amount of income obtained from the processing of Tuna fish to abon and the feasibility level of UMKM. The data shows the amount of income received by UMKM "Mekar" Parepare in September 2017 is Rp. 141.692.100. The tuna processing business produced in the packaging abon, financially from the R/C ratio = 1.65 is considered feasible to develop.

Abstract

This research entitled " Analysis Career woman Attention Of The Success Of Child Education In Family In Sawagi Village Of Pattallassang District Of Gowa Regency." This research aims to know the influence of career woman attention to the success of children education strategy for career woman in dividing time to give attention to education children, the factors that support and inhibit for career women to give attention to children's education. The research method is using qualitative and quantitative approach, the data obtained through interview is processed by using qualitative data, while the data obtained through alternative questionnaire answers are processed by using quantitative descriptive approach, and test the analysis using SPPS.volume 20.0 progaram assistance. The result of the acquisition is that the concern for a mother who has a career in physical bentuik in medium category is mean 0,5 and attention in psychic form is in high category that is mean 3,40. Both forms of attention have a positive effect on the success of children's education. Because one aspect that improves the success of children in education is an external factor that one of them from the family. Similarly, the strategy for career women in dividing the time to give attention to the success of their children's education is for mothers whose career has cooperation with other family, and the factors that support a mother's attention are the talent and intelligence of the child itself, while the inhibiting factor consists of influence environment, media and talent as well as the intelligence of the child itself.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine distributioninput and output capacity of water on the vacuums’ shelter and the impact of cultivation system in developing vertikultur device of  pumpenergy. This research is a design building. The data that collected consist of hydrostatic pressure (P), input and output capacity of water distribution, water discharge, plant height and plant production. The data was analyzed by using descriptive analysis. The results showed that the water circulation occurred because P1> P2 with the value of each pressure was P1 4900 kg/ms2 and P2 1960 kg/ms2, the average of inputdistribution capacity was 202.5 ml/sec while the distribution of water output capacity was 184.5 ml / sec, the average of water discharge as long as output experiment was 0,32 ml/sec and input 0,39 ml/sec. Then this device was applied to the kale plant.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of adding red galangal (Alppinia purpurata) to chemical, microbiological, and organoleptic qualities during storage.The type of this research is a quantitative research with experimental approaches and designed using completely randomized factorial design consist of two factors, namely factor A was the addition of galangal (control, 3%, 5%, and 7%) and factor B was the long of storage (0 day,  10 day, 20 day, 30 day) at room temperature. The number of  treatmented was tested  that as much as 16 treatments combinations. Each  treatment combination was repetition at 3 times to obtain 48 units experiment The The parameters observed in this research were water content, fat content, microbial colony count (ALT), sensory test of aroma and  appearance  of hedonic, texture, and  taste of  jerky the fish milkfish. Data were analyzed by  variance analysis techniques (ANOVA) and continued by duncan test. The best treatment was  jerky of milkfish  fish   with the addition of galangal 7% during storage that was the highest addition of galangal treatment. As long as the storage of test parameters decreases with time of storage. The treatment of the addition of galangal 7% was the best of product because it could still maintain the physical properties of the appearance, texture, aroma and taste of jerky the fish milkfish until the storage of the 10 day

Abstract

This research was aims to determine the mechanism of water vaporization and shrinkage in cassava chips during drying process using a cabinet dryer machine. Cassava chips driedat temperature 50, 60, and 700C with the time 240, 300, and 360 minutes. The parameter observed werewater content, water vaporization and shrinkage. The data were analyzed of descriptive. The results of the research showed that during drying process occurred of changes water content, water vaporization and shrinkage. More high  the temperature and to the length of time drying cause decrease the water content with increase the rate water vaporization and shrinkage.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the chemical characteristics of milk dairy cow in Sinjai District include fat content, protein content, calcium level and phosphorus level. The results of this test will be compared with the requirement of fresh milk quality based on Indonesian National Standard. This research is a kind of survey research, this research is done by taking samples of milk dairy cattle at three farmer groups in Sinjai District, especially in West Sinjai Sub-district namely  Batu leppa farmer group, Batu Pangkaiya  farmer group and Pattiroang farmer group. The results showed that milk protein content of dairy cows in Sinjai District has complied with Indonesian National Standard, but its fat content has not fulfilled the Indonesian National Standard. The calcium and phosphor content of dairy cattle milk in Sinjai District is good enough and meets the standards of fresh milk based on the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia

Abstract

The research aims to determine the effect of adding flour golden snail and flour shell crab in the feeding of ducks to increase eggs production and to improve the quality of eggshell. The Parameters observed, incluiding the production of duck’s eggs ( daily egg production, weekly egg production, egg mass) weight of duck egg (weight of eggshell and weight of the eggs content). The analysis of this thesis used variance analysis. The result of this research showed daily egg production and weekly egg production that received the best treatment lies in treatment B (awarding flour golden snail 20% and 5 % starch crab flour). Whereas the best weight of ducks egg and weight of duckshell egg is treatment D (awarding 20% flour golden snail and 10% starch crab flour)

Abstract

Climatic data and information is indispensable as an initial selection in the identification of potential land and the determination of agricultural commodity development strategies in an area. Opportunities to manipulate climate data are very small and unpredictable. Each plant has an ideal environment for living, as well as the cocoa plant. Cocoa plant growth and development is strongly influenced by the environment. Climatic factors that greatly affect the cacao plant, among others elevation, rainfall, dry month and the air temperature. Therefore, it is necessary to cross the cocoa commodity by looking at the agro-climatic suitability class with the overlay method based on Geographic Information System (GIS) of Enrekang Regency. The results showed that the grade of agroclimate suitability of cocoa commodity was dominated by class N or not appropriate. The dominant area is 45.7% (83.262.97 Ha) and the smallest class is S3 or marginal, with 7.5% (13,666.75 Ha) of total research area. The areas suitable for planting cocoa are in the suitability class S1 or very appropriate, with an area of 33,390.46 Ha or about 18.3% of the total area of Enrekang Regency.
